Wroclaw's Rynek has been a centre for inns and restaurants for centuries. Beneath the Old Town Hall, Piwnica Świdnicka traces its history to the thirteenth century. Our experience takes place nearby, with venues a short walk apart. The tasting focuses on Polish vodka, traditional food pairings and the local context behind what is served.

Our guide Ada was brilliant. Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, funny and had excellent English. We were the only two people on the tour at the time so that was a bonus. The restaurant where is was held was lovely. Added bonus of water and a few nibbles to compliment the vodka. Very informative and interesting and would highly recommend if you are a fan of vodka. Thank you Ada, we had a brilliant time.

Ada was wonderful! We learned so much about vodka as well as the history of Poland. The snacks were great as well. Additionally she went above and beyond for us as we were running so late and she waited for us and gave us the full tasting. Definitely works recommend this tour!

Pours are shot-sized and the host keeps a comfortable pace. Nobody is pushed to drink.

The Vodka Tasting is a 1.5-hour seated experience at one central venue with six Polish vodka shots and food bites. The 2.5-hour Vodka Tour visits three local venues and includes eight Polish vodkas with food pairings. A local vodka expert hosts both options.
Most Vodka Tastings run for one booking. Occasionally, especially for smaller groups, we may combine two bookings at the same seated tasting. We do not advertise these as open or public sessions. If an exclusive tasting is important to you, tell us when you enquire and we'll confirm what is available.
The Vodka Tasting lasts about 1.5 hours and the Vodka Tour about 2.5 hours. Start times can be organised between 12:00 and 19:00, subject to availability. Choose a city, date and group size, and we'll confirm the details before sending a payment link.
Their shots can be shared among the rest of the group, or we can order a non-alcoholic alternative. They can still join the food, history and conversation.
